Same Card, Two Ways

I'm out of town for the weekend, but I found this picture on my laptop. I've never had one of my cards published, but this is the first one (of very few) that I ever submitted for publication. I submitted electronically for a color opposites design call, and the publisher asked that I send the cards in for consideration. Well, I sent them in, but nothing ever came of it. Their loss is your gain...right?!?

If I recall, I stamped this Inky Antics Champagne Girl on watercolor paper using black StazOn and colored with pretty in pink, certainly celery, rose red, creamy caramel, close to cocoa, and blush blossom markers. I highlighted with a glue pen and clear glitter. I also used celery grosgrain ribbon, paper piercer and template, and Karen Foster mini casual snap stamps. Enjoy your weekend. I'll try to post another card or two while I'm away.

I'm sorry the publishers didn't pick up on those! They're very pretty! Their loss, for sure!

Great cards! Magazines seem to be picking more & more cards created using mostly scrapbooking supplies which is a pity - it is our lose not seeing cards like this one!

Yup, their loss for sure! I'm glad you shared them with us, though. They're very cute. Love that stamp! Thanks!
