Another Chance to Win

It's another Tuesday challenge at Jacksonbelle Embellishments and another chance to enter this month's contest. Just make a card using Inkadinkado, Basic Grey, Prima or Stampavie stamps, and email it to jacksonbelle.embellishments@gmail.com. Get all of the nitty gritty here.

And this week's challenge is to make a fall or Halloween themed card! What a great excuse to pull out my untouched Earth Love pad from Cosmo Cricket. It seems to be out of stock right now, but just drop Lindsey an email if you'd like her to order more. Look at those yummy fall colors. I also used an Inkadinkado stamp, Primas and distress Stickles in frayed burlap. I applied different colored inks to the owl stamp using VersaMagic dew drops, then colored with Mango Madness and a blender pen around the stamped image. Thanks for stopping by.

What's In It?
Stamps: Birds Galore (Inkadinkado), Heartfelt Phrases (Verve Stamps)
Paper: vanilla, kraft, guava (SU), Earth Love (Cosmo Cricket)
Ink: tea leaves, gingerbread, jumbo java, mango madness (VersMagic), olive (SU)

Better Late...Color Challenge

I always love Kristina's color challenges but never manage to get one done. But I actually did it yesterday. You can follow that link for this weeks details and her cool graphic. The colors are teal, sky blue, pumpkin, green galore and white. I also got some inspiration from Julee, who inked and debossed her Cuttlebug folder, and Tori, who makes those gorgeous Spellbinder's flowers. I stamped the snail (Inkadinkado) using Memento black on PTI white. After coloring with Copics, I over stamped the CHF Lined Paper Backgrounder with Soft Sky ink. I separated the sentiment into two lines to stamp on a small Labels I die cut from Spellbinders. I actually used only orange ink to sponge the large flower, because the pumpkin pie looked so brownish when I tried it. I thought this matched the paper better. And since I took the pictures, I folded up all of the flower petals for a little more dimension. Much better. In case you give them a try yourself.
Stamps- Happy Belated Birthday (Inkadinkado)
Paper- green galore, taken with teal, pumpkin pie, sky blue, (SU), white (PTI and GP)
Ink- soft sky, teal, green galore, only orange, pumpkin (SU), tuxedo black (memento)
Accessories- flower creations, labels 1 (spellbinders), Copics, SEI brad, CB D'vine swirls, white gel pen, dimensionals

Something Old, Something New

Does anybody else out there remember this old Pool Party designer paper from Stampin' Up? It's not THAT old, right? Anyway, I thought it would work well with this cute (new to me) little puppy from Inkadinkado.

I stamped the dog and colored with Copic markers. The stamp is part of a little set in which you also get that little paw print, the sentiment and a dog bone. So I stamped a trim of paw prints, and half the sentiment on the front. The other half of the sentiment is inside with the dog bone. (See pic below.) I added the little dots myself.

Stamps: Wag My Tail (Inkadinkado)
Ink: graphite black (Brilliance); Close to cocoa, choclate chip (SU); Copic markers-YG95, E31, E57, B00, o
Paper: white (Papertrey Ink); retired Pool Party, brocade blue, mellow moss (SU)
Accessories: square Nestabilities dies; Pinky swear sprinkle brads (Queen & Co); blue grosgrain ribbon (SU); dimensionals

Check out my Surfer Granny!

Is she not the coolest? I can't wait to play with her some more. And she came in a little acrylic set for $2.50. Looks like she's sold out right now, but there are a few choices still in stock here.

I just plopped granny and the sentiment on an acrylic block together and stamped once, with Graphite Brilliance ink. Then colored with my Copics. Her surfboard has a fresh coat of wax, otherwise known as Sakura Glaze pen. And her shades are covered in Sakura GellyRoll glitter pen.

Layout courtesy of Jen's sketch challenge, here. Sorry, I moved it around a bit.

Stamps: Only a Kid Once (Inkadinkado)
Paper: celery, chocolate (SU); white (Papertrey Ink); patterened (MAMBI)
Ink: graphite Brilliance; Copics-B00, C1, E31, E00, YR31, YG31, RV34, R29
Accessories: swiss dots embossing folder (Cuttlebug); glaze and glitter pens (Sakura); rhinestones (Darice); dimensionals
