RAK Thank Yous
I am hanging my head in shame right now. Would you look at these fabulous cards I have received from some amazing fellow stampers? Can you guess how long I've had some of them without sharing them here with you? Obviously, some are from clear back in December. But they are just too gorgeous to not share. So, here they are:
This card by Allison Fillo from Stampin When I Can is SO FUN! I love the shape, colors, and especially the fibers! Thank you so much for thinking of me!
Amy Westerman really came up with the most unique focal point here. Check out that embossed foil bell! It is so awesome!
Lila Holgate's beautiful bird card just has class written all over it. The colors in the bird are so thick and vibrant. Mmmmmm...and that card! Fabriano?

Yes, Julee Tilman is a creative genius. So it always thrills me to get a card from her. Like this unique three dimensional card. It folded flat for mailing, but pops into a box when you take it back out of the envelope. How cool!
This is the prettiest thank you I received from Michelle at A Stamping We Will Go. I thought it was an awesome card as soon as I opened the envie to see a file folder card. But then I opened the card, and it was even better. I LOVE the primas that she added to the inside!
And last, but certainly not least, is this SO SWEET card from Joanne Basile. She really created a "feeling" with this. Not an easy thing to do. The femine pink ribbon and soft color palette. I actually want to reach out and hug that little girl. Thank you Joanne!

RAK Thank Yous
Boy, last week was my week for cards! I received three RAK's all in one week. WooHoo! And here they are:
This first one was from Flossie at Flossie's Follies. I wish I had taken a picture of the envelope too, because it is just too pretty. I think she made it herself from designer paper. Seriously gorgeous. Thanks Flossie, for the beautiful card.
The second one is actually a RAK back I guess you could say. I had sent Regina a card and she sent this one back. Would you look at that adorable little envelope with the sentiment inside?!? I was just checking out Regina's Splitcoast gallery, and it is one of those where you ask yourself, "How could I have missed this?" It is so worth a few minutes to take a peek. Thank you Regina!
And here is the last one from Lila. We work together on the Verve Visual design team, and she is such a fabulous stamper. See more of her work at her blog, Lila's Creative Corner. But first, how amazing is this card design?!? I love the star shape and how it opens. So cool! Thanks for thinking of me, Lila.

I just wanted to pop in to show off this gorgeous RAK from Allison at Stampin' When I Can. Actually, it's a RAK-back! LOL. That is too funny. Thanks Allison. I remember admiring this when you posted it on your blog. The colors are so pretty and cheerful, just like that smiling Bella.

Josh and I just got back from picking up the car after yesterday's dentist fiasco. So now I can share this GORGEOUS card with you. I got it last week from Amy Westerman. I'm just so proud of her. Her cards have always been great, but she has kicked it up another notch lately to meet her goals. She now works with Verve Visual, Caardvarks, and Craft Critique to name a few. Thanks Amy for thinking of me and sending the beautiful card. You go girl!

Thanks Rose Ann, Laura
I got a couple of beautiful RAK's within the last week or two. This first one is from Rose Ann at Paper Delightz. She's been a wonderful blogging buddy since I first started. I was admiring this card on her blog, to put it mildly. Okay, let's face reality...I was drooling and coveting. But come on, just look at it. Occasionally a little drooling and coveting is in order. So, imagine my surprise, and yeah...glee, when I opened my mail to discover it is now my very own! Yeah! Thanks Rose Ann.
And I do believe it was the very same day that this lucky girl also received a second wonderful card, this one from the lovely Laura at Lu-La's Corner. Be sure to stop over and see her creations. They range from quick, cute creations to more intricate designs. It's so pretty. Thanks Laura.
THANK YOU ladies. Receiving a hand made card is such a great feeling.

Thanks Charmaine!
No, I haven't made any new cards to share with you yet. But I do have this beautiful creation by Charmaine that I can show you. I got it in the mail a couple of days ago. Charmaine blogs at Oodabug Alley, and you definitely want to check it out. Not only is Charmaine an absolute sweetheart, but she is an awesome stamper as well. This card has such a great color combo and little touches, like the shadow on the "thinking". Thank you Charmaine for the card and the smile. It's much appreciated.I'm planning on visiting my mom tomorrow, so we'll see whether I can manage a new card too, or not. It takes a pretty big chunk of the day when I go to visit, because the drive is about three and a half hours round trip.
{{{HUGS}}} to you all. Thanks for stopping by.

RAK's: Thank You!
I got a couple more gorgeous cards in the mail over the last week to share with you. I commented on Charmaine's blog, Oodabug Alley, last week that Josh and I were celebrating our ten year anniversary, because Charmaine and her husband were also celebrating their anniversary. I swear it was the very next day (we live in the same city) that I got this beautiful card in the mail with anniversary wishes. Charmaine is such a sweetheart, and SO talented. Thanks Charmaine, I absolutely love the colors and style. What a sweet little pocket card the way it opens for the insert.
This second card is from Lynn Mercurio at Stamperostiy. Now I feel a little silly, but I couldn't decide if Lynn meant for it to be a vertical or a horizontal card, because it looked so good both ways. I love the corners and she even dry embossed! Thanks Lynn, it's so beautiful. That layered centerpiece is lovely.

A Couple More RAK's: THANK YOU!
I got a couple of RAK's from some very sweet ladies, one last week and one in today's mail.

This one came today from Michelle. You can see more wonderful creations at her Splitcoast gallery under the screen name MilwaukeeMommy. Michelle does some great coloring work and always has just the *cutest* stamps you've ever seen. Thanks Michelle, for the card and your very kind words. Both were much appreciated.

This second lovely card is from Nancy at Nancy's Creative Mess. I just love how she mixed together the Big and Little Pieces stamp sets. And she used some beautiful colors, which I *love*. Be sure to stop by Nancy's blog for lots of beautiful, often flowery, creations. You may even spot her sweet little dog, Milo. THANK YOU Nancy.

Simple, Funky, Fresh
For this card, I used some of my winnings from the Caardvark's Bling Contest. It was a package from Jamie Horton of Top Line Creations. I got some very pretty stuff. Among my goodies was a Runway Circles Tressie Collection. It included all of these papers, except the white. The brown (used for the flower) is on the reverse side of the green dotted paper. I stamped the flower from Stampin' Up's Big Blooms in Versamark on the brown dotted paper and embossed with Clear EP. I stamped the flower again in Versamagic Tea Leaves, and cut out the center. I covered the dots with Lime Green Stickles and layered it on the flower with dimensionals. "Sweet" is from Stampin' Up's So Very set, and it is stamped with Versamagic Jumbo Java on a word window punch, accented with green thread, because it needed just a *little* something.I Used:
Stamps: Stampin Up Big Blooms and So Very
Ink: Versamark, versamagic tea leaves and jumbo java
Paper: Top Line Creations Tressie Collection, Papertrey white
Other: dimensional, eyelets (sorry, source unknown), lime green stickles, american crafts ribbon, word window punch, 1/16th inch hole punch, cropodile, thread, clear ep
If you haven't joined the RAK group on Splitcoast Stampers, I seriously suggest you do. I received this lovely card from Terri. Her user name is rtecgarrett. Be sure to check out her gallery, because there is plenty more beauties like this one. Just look at that aged vellum layer. Mmmmmm. Thank you Terri. I just love it.

Check out this gorgeous card! It arrived in my mailbox a couple of days ago courtesy of the oh-so-talented Ms. Julee Tilman of Poetic Artistry. I wish every one of you could see this card in person. There's glitter on the primas and the hole punches in the photo corners. And the sentiment layer is a beautiful shimmery yellow. Hmmm, maybe she rolled yellow ink onto shimmer white card stock??? I've been putting it off too long, that shimmery white is on my next order with Stampin' Up. Big thanks Julee. I love it.
Lastly, but certainly not least, thanks to Debby Boltman. Her blog is Debby's Stuff. Debby tagged me to list seven things about myself. I had done that earlier, in this post, but wanted to give Debby a shout out, too. Stop by her blog and say "hi" if you've got an extra minute.
