I pulled out my Lizzie Anne Tutti Fruity set to play with this week's Mojo Sketch and here are the results.
I inked the apple in pomegranate, then used my water brush to remove the ink from the stem and leaf and most of the ink from the inside of the apple, leaving enough to give it a paler, fleshy color. You'll have to wipe the removed ink off of your water brush several times to achieve this. Then I colored the stem and leaf chocolate chip and kiwi kiss, respectively. I stamped the apple on whisper white, then used my black marker to fill in the seeds and dot the flower centers, as well as draw the doodled borders.
I love rearranging my sentiments to fit where I want them, which is what I did here. I inked and stamped each line of "you're a good apple" separately and added the same apple stem and leaf as in the main image. Papers are from Basic Grey's Urban Prairie line, ribbon is American Crafts.
It's a rainy, dreary day here in Pittsburgh, and I'm wondering why we still live here. But at least I have my stamps!

Hey Bethany,
The way that this is constructed looks beautiful. I can honestly say that if I walked into Hallmark or any thrift store to get a greeting or holiday card, this would most definitely be the card that would be most appealing to the eye. I mean, it REALLY grabs my attention and it stands out from the other ones, well at least all the other simple ones I've seen my whole life, but this one even LOOKS like a lot of time and effort has been put into constructing this into what it is! I hope this actually makes it out to production, I mean Big Time production! Well, enjoy the beauty of it! thanks :)
I really love your apple! I had to do a double take on the paper, too. Gosh, is that the same Urban Prairie I have? You put it together so well. Love your use of color.
