I got home yesterday evening from Kauai after another long day of travel. Here's what it looked like when I left Pittsburgh about a week-and-a-half ago.
And here's a shot I took while Josh and I were on a short hike on Kauai.
Can you say gorgeous, stunning, awe-inspiring? This has to be the most beautiful place I've ever seen. There are many kinds of beauty, and I appreciate them all, snow covered mountains, spectacular architecture, wide open fields of wild flowers. But this really blew me away.I'll pick out a few more good pictures to share when I have a chance to get them all edited and ready. I have one card left to share with you from before I left. I'll get that up in another post in a minute. Then it may be a couple of days, because I'm going to visit my mom tomorrow and still need to finish getting my house set to rights again. Thanks for hanging in there with me!

AWWWWW HOME. I am from Oahu! We tend to Island hop though. Currently living on the island of Sicily, can't seem to live with out our Volcanos.
